To ensure that your mattress serves you as efficiently and for as long as possible, it is important to pay attention to its maintenance. The following guidelines have been compiled to provide you with all the information you need to keep your Royal Comfort mattress remained in the best condition.

Ventilation of the mattress and removal of initial odours:

It is common for new mattress after unpacking, they show some initial odours due to the new materials. Upon delivery, we recommend unpacking the mattress and placing it on its side in a well-ventilated area to allow these odours to escape.

Adaptation to the mattress:

As with new shoes, it also takes some time for the body to get used to a new mattress. Please allow a few weeks for your body to adjust to the new level of support and comfort the mattress provides.

Using a mattress protector:

To avoid moisture or liquid damage to the mattress, which can damage the cover fabric and inner material, it is important to use mattress protector. This step serves as a prevention against dirt and moisture, thus protecting the mattress between it and the sheet.

Safe handling of the mattress:

  • Never bend the mattress.
  • Avoid sitting on its edges for long periods of time.
  • Don't jump on the mattress.
  • Transport the mattress upright by holding the longer side.
  • Avoid repeated hard impacts during transport.
  • Do not be near a mattress with an open flame and avoid using heaters near it.
  • Please ask for help to carry the mattress as its weight makes handling more difficult.

Bed base / springbox:

For optimal support and durability of the mattress, the following is recommended bed base. We offer 5 types of these bases in different heights and designs that can support and extend the life of your mattress.

Regular rotation of the mattress:

For mattresses that can be used on both sides, they must be rotated regularly. The mattress should be rotated on its axis and flipped to the opposite side every three months to prevent permanent damage. Rotation should prevent uneven settling of the filling material and deformation. If your mattress has a removable topper, be sure to rotate it regularly as well. When handling the mattress, do not lift it by the handles or topperto prevent damage.
